Did you know that the BOB Backflip On Budget Freestyle jet ski hull Generation 3 was now available in Fiberglass? That’s right – it is a new year and with this new year comes a new entry level backflip hull! For all of you Gen 2 fans, the Gen 3 is definitely for you! The Gen 3 has an improved bond rail, a bigger pump area, and features a kicker on the rear of the tray among other updates. Last year the Bob Gen 3 was only available in Carbon Fiber.  The hull comes complete with turf, feet pods (now in 2 sizes!), graphics, pump shoe, hood and your choice of two ride plates (a shorty and a longer one with a kicker).

In this most recent active lifestyle product expansion Freestyle Factory added departments for Outdoor, Home and Gifts. “This is a logical and relevant direction for our company. Our customers are an active group of consumers. They camp, hike, jet ski & ATV. Our new products should be a great addition to our selection,” Said Gary Burtka, Co-Founder of Freestyle Factory.

After dozens of inquiries over the years, The Ski Clinic/ The BOB Hull have finally developed and created a dedicated Free Ride and Recreational aftermarket hull - The 3Ride.

A few months back I had the opportunity to travel down to Florida to meet meet up with the guys from XScream, check out the equipment, facility and see what all the fuss was about. 

As the season winds down in the northern areas it may be a good time to start gathering the things you will need to prep your watercraft for its long winters nap.

Freestyle Factory sent team riders Gary Burtka & Greg Brock to Charleston, West Virginia for the 2012 IJSBA Nationals & the final round of the National tour.  We arrived early Friday morning at the site, which was quickly coming to life, unpacked & settled in.

Friday night was the annual night freestyle show down in front of the Ramada where an amphitheater & a band awaited. Amateur freestyle sensation Daniel Martin, Johnny Leftly, Philip Clemmons & I all performed for the crowd. Daniel absolutely went off doing multiple backflip variations just a few feet from many parked boats while navigating the rivers shallow water. I should have some excellent helmet cam of the event.
